I am incredibly excited to announce my first Solo Exhibition: Hushed Impressions
My exhibition will be open from 12th January – 5th March 2023.
I will be hosting an Opening Celebration with free tea and cake on Saturday 14th January 2023 between 14:30 – 16:30, please book your free tickets here.
Hushed Impressions explores soft colours, dusty shadows and tactile surfaces. A quiet place where only faint whispers can be heard.
Texture is intensified, as colours and shapes become diffused. Smooth empty spaces symbolise vision loss and an out of focus, blurred perspective.
An arrangement of stories and moods are displayed which is my intuitive response to themes with, moving figures, gentle portraits, atmospheric landscapes illustrating imaginary and real studies.
Hushed impressions will take you on a journey of exploration and discovery into the experiences and realities of being visually impaired in a visual world.
